Savusavu is on the second largest Island in the Fiji group known as Vanua Levu. It enjoys a warm tropical climate throughout the year and the proximity of Fiji to the equator means that it is not affected by seasons like other temperate countries.
There is an airport in Vanua Levu with daily flights to and from both Suva (capital city) and Nadi (tourist hub).
